Worker Owned Cooperative For Southern Oregon
Lovegrowing is ecstatic to share a vision for a sustainable Oregon through the creation of a worker owned cooperative business in our state.
Creating a holistic community of member owners & partnering with existing organizations & businesses will allow us to get to zero waste & energy independent now. Sustainable design, governed with love as the compass, will guide everything we do.
Options & flexibility for workers will revolutionize how people live & relate to what is considered "working". People will contribute in various ways, completely unique & adaptable to them. The systems of support will empower people to grow & develop in sustainable, healthy ways & continually facilitate their contributing from whatever place they're in.
Someone can be homeless & addicted when they join or they can be billionaires, each will be valued & supported to create healthy lives & interact with community to accomplish goals. There will be many different areas for service & a level system people advance as they establish trust with given opportunities. If they need to be monitored or cared for until they can contribute they will be lovingly cared for.

Each persons ideal is different so we get to discover through many different processes what is healthy for each persons growth & adapt as those needs change. Choosing membership means being open to support in self discovery & requires authenticity in order to work. Different living areas & zones based on levels will allow people to find a good fit for their housing needs.
Crew positions are all backed up & anyone can stop to take care of themselves or family at any time needed without concern for negatively effecting coworkers or the whole department. Scheduling is flexible to allow people to live rich, fulfilling lives while still accomplishing goals. People can do the work they feel like doing that day, including learning new skills & are supported to explore what brings them joy.
Leveraging automation to fill in gaps as needed & creating entirely new systems & technologies to support growth will allow us to holistically expand operations. The transition from wealth accumulation to systems development eventually leads to an organized, holistic way of living & working that people can choose to experience or duplicate around the world. One that offers a quality of life not currently experienced by the majority of people.
When more than half of a community becomes members of the coop we can begin to explore transitioning from existing forms of governance to cooperative communities. If we can do it as a business & create systems to provide everything our members need, we can certainly extend the network to include all public services currently being operated under the systems of legislature & governance to meet an entire regions needs in a holistic, sustainable way.
